Tiffany Haddish and Rapper Common break up after two years of dating
Haddish and Common, the Oscar/Grammy award-winning rapper, started dating last year after meeting on the production of “The Kitchen,” a drama film that debuted in 2019.
According to People magazine, the couple has now broken up.
“They’re seldom in the same city together, and they’re both far too busy for a meaningful relationship,” an insider told the publication.
During an appearance on Steve-“Wild O’s Ride” podcast in August 2020, Haddish, 41, confirmed she was dating Common, 49. She even referred to it as the best relationship she’d ever had.
Haddish noted at the time, “This is, hands down, the best relationship I’ve ever been in.”
Haddish has been in a number of films this year, including “Here Today,” in which he co-starred with Billy Crystal, and “The Card Counter,” in which he co-starred with Oscar Isaac.
Meanwhile, Common is a three-time Grammy-winning rapper and actor. As a co-writer of “Glory,” which was included in “Selma,” a historical film starring David Oyelowo as Martin Luther King Jr., he received an Oscar for best original song in 2015.
“Selma,” “American Gangster,” “Terminator: Salvation,” and “John Wick: Chapter 2” are among his film credits.
