Three additional cases of Omicron variant detected in Nigeria
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control has identified three more instances of the Omicron COVID-19 strain in the country (NCDC).
On Tuesday, December 7, NCDC Director-Deneral Ifedayo Adetifa stated that the latest cases were discovered in people who had recently been to South Africa.
The NCDC also disclosed that the UK government had alerted them of seven cases of Nigerian travelers who tested positive for the variation.
