Stephanie Linus Joins WildAid To Advocate For Wildlife Conservation. As an environmental activist, star actress and filmmaker Stephanie Linus is furthering her cause, this time focused on biodiversity protection and attempts to minimize the effects of climate change.
Stephanie joins WildAid’s unrivaled portfolio of celebrity ambassadors to help increase global awareness of the consequences of Africa’s illicit trade in animals.
WildAid is working to reduce global biodiversity use and raise local funding for conservation efforts. It also works with policymakers and allies to protect vulnerable marine reserves from illicit harvesting and shark finning, to increase public and political will for anti-poaching activities and to alleviate the impacts of climate change.
Ms Linus said, speaking about her nomination, “I am grateful for the opportunity to pass on the message of preserving the amazing species that live in our natural world.” We are making sure that future generations will experience a safe and usable environment by conserving biodiversity. I’m proud to represent an organisation that is not only dreaming about ideas that will benefit us today, but also for the future.
WildAid has a worldwide network of ambassadors, partners, sponsors and donors who all work in our lives to stop the illicit trade of animals.
