Michy, who spoke in an interview on UTV’s United Showbiz program, said that if she had concentrated on her studies and left Wale’s burgeoning dream at a young age, she might have accomplished an enviable feat.
The former girlfriend of the singer also admitted that after their break up she had to cut ties with him that any day spent with him reminded her of the nightmare she experienced with him under the same roof.
Michy, who also has a child from the relationship, further mentioned that because they were able to make history, she learned some things from dating Shatta Wale.
”Without Shatta Wale, I look so good that if I had been tracking him the time I would [have] put in it wouldn’t have made me look so good because I’ve got a lot to do.”
”We have to step on from them as we make mistakes in life and make deliberate decisions not to return to them. I don’t think being with him was a failure and we made history without making [a lot of] effort,’ the former girlfriend said.”
”I will not say that it was a failure, just that it was a waste of my youth. I’m 27 right now; I am no longer a teen. It was painful to split up with him. It was all going to happen, but I learned my lessons from guys, friends and [I] admire my son’s role in my life.”
