Rob Holding has signed a new 3-year contract till 2024. Rob Holding, the Arsenal defender, has agreed a new three-year deal with the possibility of another year after an impressive 12 months at the Premier League side.
In all competitions for the club this season, the English professional footballer who plays as a center-back has featured 18 times.
While signing the new 3-year deal, coach Arteta made known on the club’s official website how impressed he has been with Rob’s contribution to the club as a whole and the dressing room, both on and off the pitch.
‘We are all very excited that Rob has signed a new contract, he is very famous with all the players and employees, and we look forward to seeing him continuing to flourish in the coming years with us.’
Professional director Edu praised Holding as well. He added, ‘He’s 25-years-old, but he’s only coming to the height of his career, and we’re happy that during these crucial years he’ll be with us.’
Holding has made 96 appearances for the Gunners since joining Arsenal from Bolton Wanderers in 2016. In the 2017 and 2020 FA Cup finals, he starred for Arsenal, helping his side to defeat Chelsea on both occasions.
