After a duo of German singers alleged one of their songs was included in a Fenty commercial without their permission, Rihanna has found herself facing a new lawsuit.
In an Instagram post advertising her Fenty fashion line, they allege that RiRi used a track of theirs entitled Positive Habits (and Bad).
The litigation alleges that the music and lyrics for Positive Habits (and Bad), which were featured in the Instagram story, were produced by King Khan and Saba Lou.
The duo also say that Rihanna did not have approval to use the ad track, theorizing that she had just deleted the single from a streaming music site.
King Khan and Saba Lou, along with asking that she stop using their album, are claiming undisclosed damages.
According to the complaint, the Instagram ad tallied up more than 3.4 million impressions, but it’s not clear when the ad launched.
At this time, neither Rihanna nor members of her Fenty brand have responded to the complaint or requests for comment.
The news comes just months after Forbes’s list of richest self-made women listed the singer and fashion mogul.
