Prince Harry Gets Another Job at Aspen Institute
In a profile, the organization describes him as a “humanitarian, military vet, mental health campaigner, and environmentalist.”
The announcement comes just one day after he and his wife Meghan Markle stepped down from the Royal Family last year and were revealed as taking on a new role at BetterUp, a Silicon Valley-based start-up coaching company.
He is the company’s first chief impact officer. BetterUp Inc is a San Francisco-based start-up that provides mental health and executive coaching.
‘Like I’ve said, the reality of today’s modern landscape has us inundated by an explosion of disinformation, affecting our capacity as individuals and communities to think clearly and fully appreciate the environment we live in,’ Harry said in a statement about his new work.
‘I think this is a humanitarian crisis that needs a multi-stakeholder response from activist organizations, members of the media, independent scholars, and representatives from both government and civil society.’ I’m thrilled to be a part of the current Aspen commission and to contribute to a solution-focused approach to the knowledge disorder crisis.’
‘As co-founder of Archewell, [Harry] is focused on driving social transformation in all societies through non-profit work as well as innovative activations,’ the firm said after he was hired.
