Man chops off his pen!s with scissors after using cannabis
According to a new medical case study, a man cut off his penis after experiencing a psychotic episode after using cannabis.
The guy, a 23-year-old Thai man, had used cannabis for two years before stopping, according to a case study report published in the Journal of Medical Case Reports.
He inhaled 2g of cannabis three months later and had an erection two hours later, without any type of sexual stimulation.
He began to have a terrible, constant intense pain in his penis, and his glans appeared deformed, according to reports.
The man thought he could relieve the ache by trimming the glans penis with scissors multiple times – but then fully amputated his penis.
The bleeding had not stopped after two hours, and the man had to be transported to the hospital.
Doctors determined that the penis was too damaged to save, so they removed all of the dead skin and meat.
According to the doctors, the removed area was infested with ants, and the remaining stump was just 2 cm long.
Cannabis-induced psychosis was diagnosed, according to the report, because symptoms began after cannabis usage and there was no evidence of other substance abuse.
Nantanan Jengsuebsant of the Department of Emergency Medicine, the study’s lead author, said that while cannabis is commonly used for medical and recreational purposes around the world, the man’s experience was unusual.
