On Saturday, April 23rd, 2022, in front of a record 94,000 fans, Whyte was knocked out by the unbeaten Fury at Wembley Stadium.
Fury delivered Whyte a left uppercut and then shoved him in the 6th round, leaving Whyte stunned and unable to continue after harassing him for the previous 5 rounds.
Fury cheated, according to White, and the fight should be rescheduled.
He pushed Fury to accept a rematch in an interview with Sky Sports.
Following his victory over Whyte, Fury hinted that he could retire from boxing, but a fight against the winner of the unification match between Anthony Joshua and Oleksandr Usyk could be too enticing financially and prestige-wise to pass up.
