There was shooting at a party on Chicago’s South Side early this Sunday, which has left at least 2 people killed and 10 others seriously injured, police said.
The shooting had taken place at around 4:40 a.m. at a business, precisely in the 6700-block of South South Chicago Avenue, Jose Jara, police spokesman, said in a statement, according to ABC 7 Chicago News

“One of the patrons started shooting inside the building hitting on many people,”
The victims of the shooting are of age range between 20 and 44 years.
Officers had placed not less than ten evident markers outside the building, however, most investigators have appeared to investigating the business interior. There is evident of a pool of blood on the sidewalk close to the building door.

The police spokesman, Jara was, however, not able to provide more info/details on the shooting yet, which also includes whether all the shots were fired by one person or what actually led to it.
Seven of the casualties are in critical condition and have been rushed to hospitals immediately.
