Brentford are apparently interested in signing Watford’s Emmanuel Dennis, a Nigerian international, this summer to join Ivan Toney up attack.

Dennis, 24, had a fantastic season with the Hornets in the Premier League, despite the team being demoted to the Championship after just one season.

According to the Sun, Thomas Frank is interested in bringing the forward to the Brentford Community Stadium.

The Super Eagles forward, who is presently on international duty, scored 10 goals and added six assists in 33 league outings for Watford last season.

Brentford are reported to consider this a good return for a player, with the Bees valuing him at roughly £20 million. Last summer, Watford paid £3 million to Belgian club Club Brugge for the player.

According to reports, the Belgian company would be entitled to a minor sell-on fee, estimated to be roughly 5% of the transaction price.

Dennis is garnering Crystal Palace’s attention as well.
