BMW Tupac was riding in when he was shot put up for sale for nearly $2m
On September 7, 1996, the renowned rapper was in Las Vegas with Suge Knight and their entourage to see Mike Tyson fight. Suspects in a white car opened fire when they were stopped at a red light following the fight. Shakur was shot four times, with one bullet striking him in the lung. Tupac was killed six days later, according to reports.
The automobile, which has been restored to its former state, is currently on the market for $1.7 million. Potential purchasers may see the automobile in person at Celebrity Cars’ Las Vegas showroom, which, according to TMZ, isn’t far from the location of the 1996 massacre.
This car went up for auction in 2017 with a $1.5 million asking price. The asking price was raised to $1.7 million in early 2020. It’s unknown whether the car has had several owners since then or whether there have been no purchasers.
Every year, it appears that a new Tupac-related object is put up for sale. In the past, tens of thousands of dollars have been paid for the rapper’s poems, jailhouse letters, and unseen pictures.
