Bill Gates disappeared from work in a Porsche to meet women
A new report by Vanity Fair has claimed that billionaire Microsoft co-founder, Bill Gates would drive to work in his Mercedes before driving off in a golden brown Porsche In what his colleagues suspected was his manner of supposedly discreetly seeing ladies, he had an assistant brought for him.
Bill Gates, 65, announced his divorce from Melinda French Gates, his 27-year wife, on May 4.
New reports about his alleged serial infidelity surfaced in Vanity Fair on Monday, June 7, including how he would switch cars to try to hide his tracks.
“We all thought it was when he was with women,” a Microsoft colleague told Vanity Fair.
‘I knew he had a lot of offsite meetings that weren’t on his calendar,’ I said.
The report also exposes how, despite her denials, Melinda engaged a private investigator.
Another colleague refuted the tale, claiming that Gates was careful in his day-to-day planning.
According to two sources, someone in Melinda’s circle collaborated with a private investigator, and the results of the private investigator would be used in the divorce process.
Melinda’s spokeswoman has refuted the allegations.
According to the magazine, many Microsoft employees were forced to sign Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) to prohibit them from discussing his managerial style.
‘You’ve had an NDA for a long time,’ you’ve been told. A former employee who signed such an agreement remarked, “You can’t comment.”
They said they felt empowered to talk about working for Gates because of recent media attention, although they were aware of the dangers.
Lawyers were supposed to be on standby and keeping an eye on things.
They went on to say, ‘And these aren’t pleasant lawyers.’
The New York Times reported last month that when Gates was chairman of Microsoft, he allegedly followed women who worked for him a couple times.
He once emailed an employee to invite her out to dinner, and he also informed a Gates Foundation employee that he wanted to take her out to dinner while on a business trip to New York.
After being informed of his advances on an employee in 2000, Microsoft’s board of directors started an investigation into his behavior in 2019, and Gates stepped down from the board the following year, after the business engaged a law firm to investigate the accusation.
According to Forbes, the Gates are worth $130 billion.
