Ansu Fati is chosen as Lionel Messi’s successor to wear the No 10 jersey
There had been considerable speculation that Pedri, a young midfielder, would be given the famous jersey number. Fati, who previously wore the No 22 jersey, was presented with his new shirt number for the 2021-22 season in a video posted on social media on Wednesday, September 1.

Fati, the’record breaker,’ is the ideal player to replace the massive gap left by Messi, according to a statement on Barcelona’s website.
