A 50-year-old mother has enrolled in JSS2 at Ilorin Grammar School, a high school in Kwara state, western part of Nigeria.
Mrs. Ajayi Folashade began in Junior Secondary class 2, with her classmates who are children younger than her children.
The lady, who envisages someday to become a teacher, said she had enrolled in school to develop herself. She added that, regardless of age, she wants to inspire people her age to go through with their dreams.
She also called for the government to develop services for adult education so that older scholars won’t have to wait with kids to study.
